How To Get Sh*t Done In 3 Simple Steps
As an entrepreneur we have all been there, we have a long to-do list of tasks we want to do, we spend all day working but still haven’t actually seemed to have ticked things off your list (or maybe even added to it!). So… how to get more productive? Work less, but get more done?

My three things to follow to get tasks completed:
Number one: Focus on the most important things.
Set yourself three non-negotiables every single day. These are the tasks which ABSOLUTELY have to be completed every day. Mine are these three (they could look different for you! Make sure to find YOU in this):
Sell everyday - this doesn’t need to be a big sales pitch, but something as simple as sending an email out, posting in a Facebook group (about a client win, about how to get in work/touch with me, doing a Facebook live). The key is to connect with people and ‘make an offer’. It’s so important to show up every day, which I spoke about in my previous blog post, taking consistent action to create major success.
Get in touch with current clients - ensuring your clients are satisfied with your work and support is obviously important, they are paying for your services, you want them to be happy and make sure you are there to help. They are the proof of your skills and knowledge.
Create value and content - perhaps create a freebie, write an email or a Facebook post. Giving free, valuable advice is vital in attracting potential clients. Write about something showcasing your knowledge. This doesn’t even mean you have to create new content every single day, some days you could repurpose content. Take a Facebook live you’ve done and make a post for Instagram from it. Creating content doesn’t need to be a massive huge task to tick off the list everyday.
Number two: Weekly CEO days.
I believe in having one day in the week which is just for me and my business. Where you can focus on planning new strategies, on business growth, on what you want to do next, however don’t forget the execution. Do take action on these tasks, helping you to achieve your long term plans. I set my intention for the week and decide what I need to do everyday to achieve that weekly goal. This day is where I can concentrate on growing my business and scaling up, not just staying in the same place, but GROW and actively create my future.
Not only is this day all about my business, but also about heavily taking care of MYSELF. Maybe I’ll go for a massage or maybe I’ll go to the park and spend the afternoon reading.
I love having my CEO day on a Monday, as it gives me a great start to the week. Gets me re-energised and motivated for the week, so I am performing my best.
Number three: Outsource.
Outsourcing the tasks which are outside of your zone of genius or the ones that you aren’t so great at, not only saves you massive amounts of time, but will leave you feeling more calm. Getting rid of the tasks that you don’t find enjoyable, means you can focus on the tasks you do LOVE and will then excel in them. Time is so valuable when running a business and you don’t want to waste time on a task that will take you forever and leaves you feeling exhausted.
A great starting point for outsourcing tasks is by making a list of all the tasks you do in a day/week/month. Then you’ll be able to establish the ones that would be best to outsource, otherwise it’s an overwhelming task.
If procrastination is what stops you from getting sh*t done, read my blog post all about how to get over procrastination and into action mode.
