Who here would love to have a (multiple) 6 figure business, as in making at least $100k a year?
I so often hear people talk about making six figures, a six figure business. For the ones who are there that is everyday life. For the business owners who do bring in consistent money but are not quite there yet, they are easily overwhelmed when people throw in numbers like that.
Why not break things down and take the heat out of it? Taking the fear and the unknown out of things. So what does really mean to have a 6 figure business?
First of all this means making an average of $8,333 a month. That’s a fact. And doesn’t that already feel much less scary?
This is the exact reason why I love breaking down things, be it scary numbers, goals, actions to take, big dreams. Break things down into chunks and make them more digestible. That always helps!
But we are not done here, obviously. So let’s simplify even more. What could an $8k month look like?
You need 42 people to buy a $200 product OR
You need 17 people to buy a $500 product OR
You need 9 people to buy a $1000 product
This is where the product mix comes into play (if you haven’t seen the post, it’s right HERE)
Let’s make a couple of assumptions to illustrate the next example.
Your high end product is a 1on1 service for $2000 / month.
You have a course that sells for $500.
And a low-end offer that sells for $100.
What could an exemplary month of your 6 figure business look like for you?
1 client for your $2000 offer AND
9 clients for your $500 offer AND
20 clients for your $100 offer
And this is exactly why I love having multiple products in place! Obviously not everyone will buy the high end offer, more people will always go for the lowest offer. But your product mix acts like a funnel, bringing in people at the low-end product and some will upgrade, some will not. But that means that in total you need even less than 30 individual clients!
30 clients a month could bring you your 6 figure business… and this is just ONE of endless combinations.
In addition to that there are numerous other sources of incomes that are easily added to this product mix. Imagine you also have affiliate income, collaborations, paid speaking engagements, special offers like group programs and masterminds, regular launches …
This wasn’t too hard, was it? Don’t let this big number intimated you. Break it down and take the fear away!
